1. What is kitesurfing?
This is closely related to kiteboarding with its specificity narrowed down to wave riding. Over time, there have arisen several styles of kiteboarding. These include but not limited to wake style, free ride, freestyle, speed, down riders, kitesurfing in the waves, jumping and course racing. Kitesurfing Bornholm is a very fantastic activity that gives you the opportunity to feel nature's power while at the same time doing sports.
2. How do I work with the wind?
If you want to kitesurf, you always need to be aware of how and when the wind is blowing. You must be ready to travel to where the wind is most favorable - usually at Balka, Duodde or Boderne beaches - as the right wind is essential if you want to enjoy several hours of fun on the water. Proper kitesurfing is not just done for the sake of doing it. There must be favorable wind that will let you surf comfortably. The wind direction as well as its stability and strength play a key role in kitesurfingnd such favorable wind at the Balka beach, Bodenerne beach and the Duodde beach. These are the beaches that normally have the most stable wind. In case you go to a beach where the wind is not stable it may swing from one side to another, up and down irregularly such that you may end up having accidents.
3. Are all ages of people allowed to do Kitesurfing?
Kitesurfing does not exclude anyone from doing it. Children as well as the very old people can do it. What matters most are the experience you have and the strength that may be needed here and there. In fact, the youngest Denmark kitesurfer is aged nine, while the one we would think is too old to kitesurf is eighty six years old.
4. Is it dangerous to kitesurf?
