6 Tips to Cut and Style Curly Hair

Hair salons are everywhere and people are going crazy to get new hairstyles. As we see new styles creeping in every new day, hair salons have become a necessity for many, especially females.
Why hair salons have become so important?
In addition to new trends and changes in fashion, there are so many reasons why people choose hair salons.
1. They have professional hair stylists who can cut your hair in the right proportion.
2. Some people still try to cut hair at homes, and that's not odd.
But they lack proper tools and equipments for cutting hairs. 3. Hair specialists know better what suits you. So, regardless of expensive fees, people tend to take their services.
4. You have other benefits in hair salons Toronto, such as protein treatments, hair extensions, keratin treatments, and off course, stylish hairs. Checkout d2www.d2ehairboutique.com for different kinds of hair styling services.
Talking about hair cutting, do you have any idea what kind of hair are most difficult to cut? Obviously, curly hairs!
If you, or your friend has curly hair and you want to make your own style, here are some tips to help you style and cut them properly.
1. Use Conditioner Instead of Shampoo
It is true that shampoo makes hair soft and silky, and makes cutting and styling much easier. But it's not the case with curly hairs. Shampoo makes curly hair more frizzy and fluffy, and makes your job more difficult. Use conditioner, or conditioner-like shampoo to avoid this problem. The oil and dirt will rinse out leaving the hairs clean but they don't have the glassy feeling that shampoo leaves.
2. Layers are Important for Curly Hairs
People with curly hairs have a misconception that by removing too much weight, the hairs will become puffy and big. Reality is, layers help curly hairs to move. You can begin with vertical cuts, then cut individual curls to make some moving space.
3. Avoid Too Much Texturing
If you go to salon in Toronto, you'll observe experienced hairstylists refrain from too much texturing on curly hairs. You have to remove the weight but not from the ends. If the ends are heavy the hairs will take shape. Over texturing curly hair always disturb the pattern of curl and make them frizzy.
4. Be Careful with the Length
The reason why curly hairs are tricky is, they get longer when wet. So, the length will shrink as you cut them. In between, you will observe that ends need more cutting than you expected. If you're cutting someone's hair, inform him or her how much you will cut and how much they would shrink.
5. Re-wet Before Styling
This is the easiest way you should reshape curls. When you finished cutting, use water spray to re-wet the hair, or rinse them. Then use your fingers for styling, not the comb.
6. Apply Conditioner and Gel
No need to experiment with new products that claim to remove frizz. Water glue the hairs together but as it evaporates, the hair get messy. You can put conditioner that stays longer and give frizz-free curl.
